Modifications to Traps

he modifications on the Doc200 are a quick release child proof safety latch which requires four deliberate movements to open the box and a trap catch notifications alarm system.

DOC 200 The modifications on the Doc200 are a quick release child proof safety latch which requires four deliberate movements to open the box.This was designed to;

1. Alleviate the need to carry a tool to open the box

2. Make the clearing of the trap much quicker

3. Save considerable time on even one box

4. Prevent the latch from releasing if trap is tipped over

A flag system has also been designed to use on boxes to alleviate the need to micro check each box.

Trap catch notifications

This entails a wireless alarm system. Door magnets are attached to the top of the trap to indicate when the trap has sprung. This door magnet then sends by radio wave, a signal to the main controller about 40 to 50 meters away. If the controller is positioned in the middle of the monitored area this can equate to 100mters x 100 meters coverage area. The main controller has a sim card in it and sends a txt message to any mobile phone programed into the system. This is practically helpful in an area where you are monitoring for breaches in sensitive areas such as inside a predator fence etc

If you want to talk with Bruce about the modifications email Moira through the Contact Us page and I’ll put you in touch with him.
